Evergreen Implement has been serving the local community since 1966.

Evergreen is still in its original location at 1415 South First Street in Othello, Washington. We are a Gold Star John Deere Dealer and are also the largest supplier of potato equipment and parts in the State of Washington.The company employs 66 people in four locations: Othello, Moses Lake, Coulee City, and Ritzville.

Roger Thieme is the president and owner. He graduated from the University of Idaho in the 1960's with a degree in engineering. Not quite seeing himself wearing a lab coat and working under bright lights, he returned to the family farm for a short stint before hiring on with John Deere. He soon decided that he wanted to be on his own and started Evergreen Implement in Othello, Washington. He later added Moses Lake in 1989 and opened the Coulee City and Ritzville stores in 2004.

Evergreen has seen the transition of company records migrate from card bins to sophisticated integrated computer systems over the course of years. These improvements are a requirement for today's customers, who need reliable equipment with minimal downtime. Even though the machines being used by farmers today are much more reliable than those used back in 1966, employees must have a strong working knowledge of all equipment. Evergreen makes sure that is has a trained staff and puts heavy emphasis on good on-the-job employee training and some formal schooling through Walla Walla Community College.
