EVERGREEN ADVANTAGES:
1.
The Terog rock
rollers are more expensive than the factory standard equipment
but offer superior performance and longer life.
2.
The chain pattern of 2 down-1 straight cushion
forms a "3 Link" pocket that assures maximum elevator capacity.
The elimination of all flights and pegs also lets us minimize
the clearance (drop) required at all transitions.
3.
With the factory
option of only two rollers to support the return of the diviner
chain the links rub on the UHMW fenders. With the 12 roller
package the links are suspended above the fenders.
4.
Most Basin soil
conditions will require a star table in the separating system to
reach the harvester capacity you desire. The rear cross star
table completes the dirt separation early in the harvest cycle
providing maximum harvest capacity and consistently clean loads.
5.
The raised trash
roller with deflector eliminates trash build-up on the back of
the rear cross table. This eliminates sporatic clumps of trash
being delivered into the truck.
6.
This
modification relocates the star table in relation to the side
elevator and adds crop control units to assure loss free
feeding and an even load across the entire elevator.
7.
The rear ladder
is added to give easy access to the rear cross and side
elevator.
8.
The bruise guard
on the sides of the elevator eliminates tuber roll-back on the
chain belt runs.
9.
Both front and
rear traction rollers on the "S" drive are changed from 1" wide
3 1/2" diameter rollers (standard factory) to 2" wide 10"
diameter rollers. This provides better chain wrap on the "S"
drive sprocket assuring positive elevator drives.
10.
The cleaned crop
is concentrated in a 36" wide conveyor to aid bruise free truck
loading. This means that, in high capacity harvesting, the
truck boom will be full. The combination of the "C" flex with
ears chain and our modified side elevator to truck boom
transition allows the truck boom to carry high capacity loads
with virtually no tuber damage. Customers are very pleased
with the result.
11.
Evergreen first
experimented with a front blower in 1990. Since then, continual
improvements have been made in both performance and
reliability. The present Lockwood factory option is a copy of
our latest design and has proven to be very successful. Major
advantages over a rear blower are 1.) Lower horsepower
consumption. 2.) Allows use of staggered secondary. 3.) Lower
drop between secondary and rear cross. 4.) Minimum blower
dust. 5.) Exceptionally clean loads. 6.) Better "dug vine"
control. 7.) Allows effective use of vine choppers.
12.
Dual fan intake
shutters allow positive adjustment of cleaning air flow.
13.
The factory
supplied lighting package is deficient in both light output and
reliability. We install six John Deere 3x5 Halogen Flood
Lamps. Customers have been pleased with this upgrade.
14.
A stabilizer
wheel is essential to assure machine stability at high
harvesting speeds.
15.
We supply 32"
coulters, chromed on one side to extend coulter life and allow
"wearing sharp".
16.
All of our
machines are equipped with chrome digger blades and points for
extended life.
17.
Evergreen has
developed a conveyor timing procedure that provides high
capacity, bruise free harvest with no in-field changes.
Customers are supplied with complete chart for each machine.
18.
A vine chopper
could be the best investment you will ever make. Here are the
advantages:
Chopped vines return to the ground
where they
grew. No more vines on "undug" rows, in large piles or wrapped
around drivelines. Improved digging conditions aid non-stop,
bruise-free harvest
and chopped vines eliminate subsequent tillage
problems.
